A group of highly experienced faculty along with talended young faculties having a firm commitment constituted the Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies at the University of Dhaka. The institute has –though as a newly established institute started offering higher education under the semester system since October 2012 –already marked their ascendancy in academic and extracurricular activities amo0ng and within the academic environment at the university.
